You will be working for an award-winning, fast growing and leading manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of IT, electrical & data cabling, server racks and IT & electrical peripherals.
Based in the Homebush, as State Manager for NSW, you will manage and coordinate operations and customer success activities with your team of 10 salespeople, ensuring that client expectations are met, and all operations are functioning effectively, efficiently, and professionally.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for ongoing business development, engaging with new business opportunities, onboarding clients, and winning new clients through your team of Business Development Managers as well as existing account management through your team of Account Managers.
The role: - Sales management of a team of 10 people that includes BDMs and Account Managers across a Statewide territory
- Development, implementation and management of State sales strategies
- Management of team targets and KPI’s
- Management reporting and pipeline forecasting
- Develop and manage a high level of customer service focus that assists with client retention
- Provide sales training for your team members
To be successful in this role you must have the following essential criteria: - At least 5 years proven experience selling IT, electrical and data cabling, server racks and IT and electrical peripherals
- At least 2 years’ experience gained in sales management/leadership either as a State Manager or a seasoned BDM looking to step up into a State Managers’ role
- The ability to nurture customer relationships and drive results by developing a team with exceptional sales skills and customer service
- The ability to work under pressure and be highly organised
- First class communication skills both written and verbal to be able to deal with people at all levels both internally and externally
- Strong reporting skills
- Demonstrate clear decision making and problem-solving skills in dealing with all operational and strategic issues that affect the business functions
- An effective team player
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision
