You will be working for a global insurance company that is agile and dynamic and that specialises in selling credit insurance & risk management solutions for corporate clients, cross-industry regardless of their size.
As a Junior Account Manager, based in offices in Sydney CBD, you will build and manage strong business relationships with existing and new broker accounts across Australia, to maximise the achievement of company goals and renewal sales targets.
The role:
Be a key contact for Credit Insurance & Services solutions between clients, brokers and internal stakeholders
Maintain communication with designated key accounts and explore other business opportunities to achieve sales targets
Prepare quotations and presentations for direct prospects & specialised brokers by exercising commercial delegation and/or preparation for review by Commercial Committee
Coordinate and communicate with all other departments specifically Risk Underwriting, EIC and Claims
Become a Subject Matter Expert by improving own expertise on company products/services
Involvement in the reporting requirements of the Account Management team
Establish close working relationship with other commercial team members to make best use of available resources
Presentation of complex commercial situations to management and commercial committee
Any ad-hoc tasks to be assigned by the manager
To be successful in this role, you need the following essential criteria:
A Graduate with a Bachelors degree in Business or Finance
Previous experience gained in a B2B account management or relationship management role preferably gained in insurance or financial services
First class communication skills both written and verbal
Presentable with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Broad understanding of key insurance markets, their condition and competitors specifics
